PowerPoint to HTML:
Smarter Content Delivery
Upload a PowerPoint. vablet automatically converts it to HTML — preserving every animation, video, and transition — so your content plays instantly in any browser, on any device, on or offline. No PowerPoint required. Ever.
No 25 MB Limit. No Forced Downloads. No Compatibility Issues.
Microsoft has no online viewer for PowerPoint files over 25 MB — they force a download. vablet HTML opens instantly, on any device, every time.
How It Works
Three Steps. Fully Automatic.
No technical skills needed. Upload your file, set your preferences, and vablet does the rest.
Upload Your PowerPoint
Drag and drop any .pptx file into the vablet platform — no size limits, no restrictions on animations, transitions, or embedded video.
Set Metadata & Security
Assign the file to a folder and group. Configure security settings — control whether content is downloadable, emailable, or view-only for each audience.
Automatic Conversion & Deploy
vablet converts the file to optimized HTML automatically — fixing video encoding errors along the way — and deploys it to every authorized user, ready for instant playback.
Why It Matters
Every Advantage, Built In
vablet’s PowerPoint-to-HTML engine solves the problems that slow down content delivery teams every day.
Instant Open — No Download
Files open immediately in any browser. Microsoft’s online viewer forces a download for PowerPoints over 25 MB. With vablet HTML, there is no file-size ceiling — presentations launch instantly, every time.
No 25 MB limit
Videos Optimized for Mobile
Embedded videos are automatically re-encoded for mobile playback. vablet corrects high bit-rate, excessive resolution, and misplaced moov atoms that cause buffering failures on iOS and Android.
Auto-fixed encoding
Smaller File Sizes
HTML output is significantly smaller than the source PowerPoint, reducing storage costs and speeding up delivery to field reps and customers — even on slow or unstable connections.
Less storage, faster delivery
Secure, Protected Content
Individual slides cannot be extracted or reassembled from HTML output, preventing unauthorized reuse and protecting against CAPA violations in life sciences and other regulated industries.
CAPA-safe
No PowerPoint Required
Recipients need no software at all. Content plays natively in any modern browser on iPad, iPhone, Android, or desktop — no plugins, no installs, no compatibility issues for your customer.
Works everywhere
Easy Sharing with Anyone
Send even your largest, most complex presentation as a simple link. Customers see full animations and transitions exactly as designed, with no download or setup required.
One link. Full presentation.
Viewer Experience
Full Control in the Browser
Once converted, users get a rich, interactive viewing experience — not just a flat image of slides.
Slide Navigation
Navigate forward, back, or jump to any slide — just like a native presentation app, right inside the browser.
Thumbnail Overview
See thumbnails of every slide at a glance. Jump directly to the content you need without scrolling through the entire deck.
Speaker Notes
Access the presenter’s speaker notes alongside each slide — perfect for preparation, training, or self-guided review.
Works Offline
Once loaded, presentations work without an internet connection. Ideal for field reps presenting in hospitals, factories, or areas with no connectivity.

Bonus — present in HTML, send the original .pptx
Some customers want the source .pptx for their records. vablet lets reps present from HTML and send the original PowerPoint as the email follow-up — both delivered in a single email. The customer gets one message with a link to the HTML deck (opens instantly in any browser) and the .pptx as an attachment (intact, for their archive).
Reps configure this once on the converted HTML file: open the file’s Email tab, set the original .pptx as the attachment, save. From then on, every send delivers both versions automatically.
Frequently asked questions
What file types does vablet’s PowerPoint to HTML conversion support?
Any .pptx file, regardless of size. There are no restrictions on animations, transitions, or embedded video. The conversion preserves the visual fidelity of the original deck.
How long does conversion take?
About 15 minutes for a typical deck. Larger decks with many embedded videos take longer; smaller decks finish faster. Conversion runs in the background — admins don’t need to keep the browser open.
Is the converted HTML editable?
No, by design. The HTML output is a packaged deliverable, intentionally locked down so it can’t be opened in PowerPoint and re-assembled. To make changes, edit the original .pptx in PowerPoint and request a new conversion. The .pptx remains in your vablet library as the editable source.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Converted HTML files are self-contained packages that work fully offline once synced to a rep’s device — same as any other vablet file. See what offline sales enablement actually means for the broader context.
What devices does the converted HTML support?
iPad, iPhone, Android tablets and phones, Microsoft Surface, and any modern desktop browser. No PowerPoint or other software required to open it.
Is this included in vablet, or a separate product?
It’s a standard feature included with vablet. There’s no separate license, no additional cost per conversion, and no setup required beyond your normal vablet admin access.
