Hot new features in the latest vablet™ content management system build 2.8! Overall, we’re giving users more ways to interact with their media.
First up: the SWEEP and UNREAD folders.
- SWEEP contains the files that “sweep” across the top in the preview mode. If you don’t see it, it is probably hidden – simply tap on the downward pointing arrow toward the top of the screen. (see the diagram below)
- The UNREAD folder is exactly what it sounds like – all unviewed content/media on your device. This is different from the NEW folder in that media here is the most recently pushed media (which is automatically transferred to your UNREAD folder if you receive multiple pushes since interacting with the vablet™ app.
Next up: new viewing options.
The Split View is an entirely new display, which you may find is more similar to the menus on your desktop computer.
This new format behaves similarly to the Grid view in that tapping on a folder will display sub-folders or files underneath it. One of the key differences, however, is the ability to preview a file before opening it. In the List View (displayed on the left) tap a file once to preview it, and then tap the preview image to open it.
We have also added a Home button (shaped like a house). This will take you back to your vablet™ Home Screen in just one tap, no matter how many folders deep you may be. There is also a quick link to your Favorites folder – just tap the Star shaped icon.
